BR A1 Class 4-6-2 Locomotive / Two BR Mk1 Composite Coaches / BR Mk1 Brake Coach

In 1990 a group of like minded people came together in a belief that they could construct from new a Peppercorn Class A1 Pacific locomotive. After a period of nearly 20 years the dream became a reality when in 2008 locomotive number, 60163 'Tornado' moved under its own power.

Inspired by such specially chartered named trains that are seem almost every weekend being hauled by 'Tornado', this Hornby train pack features 'Tornado' in BR Brunswick green with the early BR Totem clearly seen on the tender. Also worthy of note is the distinctive lipped chimney of the 'Tornado' adding even more character to this icon of determination.
